WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University quarterback Mack Lowrie (Foxborough/Roxbury Latin School) has been invited to participate in the Washington Redskin's rookie mini-camp this weekend, May 11-13, in Ashburn, Va.
Lowrie, in his two Bentley seasons after transferring in, threw for 2,096 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games.
The 6-4, 220-pounder played in six games last fall before injuries cut his season short. He completed 61 percent of his passes, good for 1,310 yards, 11 touchdowns and only four interceptions. Lowrie threw five TD passes in a 40-21 win over nationally-ranked LIU Post and four against Saint Anselm, and he had 312 passing yards with a .674 completion percentage against Pace.
