Kulikowski Sparkles for Bentley during First Round of St. Rose Fall Shootout

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. – Bentley University junior Doug Kulikowski (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland HS) will be in second place when the St. Rose Fall Shootout resumes for its final day Saturday afternoon at the Pinehaven Country Club.

Kulikowski turned in a one-over 72 and stands two strokes back of Franklin Pierce's Sam Hunt.

As a team, Bentley finished the tournament's opening day sixth among ten teams after turning in a 311. Franklin Pierce is at the top of the leaderboard with a 291, but the Falcons are only five back of third-place Le Moyne College.

Other key performers for Bentley were sophomore Robert Falconer (Mechanicsburg, Pa./ Cumberland Valley HS) and senior Logan French (Tolland, Conn./East Catholic HS). Falconer finished the opening day tied for 13th with a 76, and French's 79 was good for a tie for 27th.

Saturday's action begins at 12:45 pm.
