This despite two more goals from Kyle Schmidt (Menomonee Falls, Wisc./Sioux City).

    Schmidt, Pelino Lead Bentley Past Sacred Heart 3-2 Kyle Schmidt (Menomonee Falls, Wisc./Sioux City) scored two goals, and freshman goalie Aidan Pelino (Oakville, Ontario/Chilliwack) made 37 saves to lead the Bentley hockey team past Sacred Heart 3-2 on Friday night at Webster Bank Arena.

    Bentley Takes on Sacred Heart This Weekend; Friday’s Game on NESN Plus The Bentley hockey team will take to the ice this weekend against Sacred Heart in a home and home series. Friday’s series opener at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn., can be seen live on NESN Plus and is slated to begin at 8:30. The series will then shift to the JAR on Saturday night.

    Frozen Fenway Stories The Bentley hockey team made it 2-0 all-time at Fenway Park when the Falcons defeated Army West Point 3-1 on Jan. 5. This followed Bentley's inaugural appearance at Frozen Fenway during the 2013-14 season, when they defeated Holy Cross 3-2.

    Schmidt Tabbed Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week Atlantic Hockey announced on Tuesday that Bentley University junior Kyle Schmidt (Menomonee Falls, Wisc./Sioux City) has been named the conference’s Player of the Week. Schmidt had two goals and two assists in the Falcons’ series at Niagara last weekend.

    Niagara Edges Bentley 3-1 for Series Split Niagara University scored two goals 2:08 apart in the 3rd period in a 3-1 win over Bentley University on Saturday afternoon, to earn a series split at Dwyer Arena, which snapped a three-game unbeaten streak for the Falcons. Sophomore Jake Ahlgren (Fergus Falls, Minn./Wenatchee) scored for Bentley.

    Bentley Battles Back from Three Goals Down Late to Tie Army 5-5 Bentley battled back from three goals down late in the 3rd period, and forced a 5-5 tie with Army West Point in an instant classic at the JAR on Friday night. The Falcons scored three unanswered goals over the final 11:43 of the 3rd period.

    Bentley Tops Army West Point at Frozen Fenway 3-1 The Bentley University hockey team won at Frozen Fenway for the 2nd straight time, as they defeated Atlantic Hockey leaders Army West Point 3-1 on Thursday night. Captain Max French (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna) had two assists, while junior goalie Jayson Argue (Swan River, Manitoba/Nanaimo) outdueled Army’s Parker Gahagen with 25 saves. Freshman defenseman Brett Orr (Elkhorn, Manitoba/Portage) put the game away with an empty net goal with 10 seconds remaining, his 1st career goal.
