Bentley University’s Matt Reynolds (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin) and Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) have been named to the Northeast-10 Men’s Soccer Academic All-Conference team.

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior back Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) has picked up another postseason honor, as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America has named him to its Division II All-East first team.

Senior Cedric Panzu (Mons-El-Baroeul, France) scored an unassisted goal in the 51st minute to break a 1-1 tie and propel Southern Connecticut State University to a 2-1 win over Bentley University in Northeast-10 Conference men’s soccer Friday afternoon at Bentley.

WALTHAM, Mass. – Four first half goals was more than enough to give the Bentley men’s soccer team a 4-1 victory over Saint Anselm on Wednesday in a match that was played mostly in pouring rain. The win improves Bentley’s Northeast-10 record to 7-3 and 9-4-1 overall.

Falcons Look to Continue Ascent in 2011; Open Season Friday
WALTHAM, Mass. – It’s been a steady ascent up the Northeast-10 table for the Bentley men’s soccer team the last three seasons under head coach Gary Crompton. After a major breakthrough in 2010 signaled their arrival as a serious contender in the NE-10, the Falcons will look to punctuate that by finishing the job in 2011. The season gets underway Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with a home match against Wilmington (Del.).
