Men’s Tennis Swept by Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech swept its way to a 9-0 victory over Bentley University in a non-conference men's tennis match Wednesday afternoon as part of the Falcons' spring break trip.

Florida Tech improves to 7-5 overall in winning for the sixth time in eight matches. Bentley falls to 3-6 on the season.

After the Panthers swept the doubles matches, sophomore Peter Koopman (Whitinsville, Mass./Whitinsville Christian) was the only Bentley player to win a set in singles, doing so in the sixth-flight against Zach Eichholz. They split the first two sets 7-5, with Koopman winning the second, before Eichholz won the match with a 10-2 victory in the decisive third set.

Bentley is back in action on Friday against Florida Southern.
