ORLANDO, Fla. – The Bentley University men's tennis team dropped the finale of its annual spring break trip to Florida on Sunday afternoon to Oklahoma Baptist by a score of 7-2. Junior Andrew Waddington (Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) and freshman Felipe Palacios (Bogota, Columbia/Colegio Neuva Granada) won singles matches for the Falcons.
Waddington defeated Kolt Byerly in the fourth-flight 6-3, 6-3, and Palacios rallied to beat Jacob Allbritton in the sixth-flight. After dropping the first set 6-2, Palacios won the second set 6-4 and the decisive third set 10-6.
Bentley will head back north with a record of 3-8. They restart Northeast-10 play, which they are 3-1 in, on Wednesday afternoon when they visit Stonehill for a 3:30 pm match.
