BOSTON, Mass. – Bentley University opened its spring schedule with some tough competition against Division I Boston University, and suffered a 6-1 setback against the Terriers on Wednesday afternoon.
BU, which competes in the Patriot League conference and was playing its 5th match of the spring, improved its record to 3-2. Bentley's record fell to 2-2.
Bentley's point came from freshman Kendall Au (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex), in the No. 6 singles match. He defeated BU's Miguel Cepeda in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 10-7.
The Falcons will be off for the next two weeks, but when they return to the courts, it will be at MIT on Feb. 22.
