Bentley Sweeps Past Saint Michael’s 7-0

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley improved to 6-1 in NE10 play with a 7-0 sweep of Saint Michael's on Wednesday.

The Falcons improved to 13-6 overall with three matches left in the regular season, two in the NE10.

Bentley swept all three doubles matches and took the No. 1 and No. 2 matches without dropping a game. Seniors Dylan Granat (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) and Michael Fuca (Manchester, Mass./Manchester-Essex) swept in No. 1, and sophomores Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) and Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass./Pentucket) swept in in No. 2. Junior Kendall Au (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) and freshman Alex Novins (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) were 6-1 winners in No. 3.

Bentley then dominated in singles. Granat (No. 1), Fuca (No. 2), Aulson (No. 3) and Novins (No. 5) all won their singles matches with only one game dropped. Au was a 6-3, 6-1 winner in No. 4, and senior Nick Hatcher (Danbury, Conn./Immaculate) cruised in No. 6 by a 6-1, 6-2 score.

The Falcons will play at Post on Friday in its final non-conference match of the season, then will play at NE10 rival Adelphi on Saturday.
