    Three members of the Bentley University track and field team, including recently minted CoSIDA Academic All-America Sean Nee (West Yarmouth/Dennis-Yarmouth Reg. HS), have been chosen for the 2016 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference outdoor track and field team. Joining Nee, a May graduate, were classmate Olyvia Leahy (New Bedford/New Bedford HS) and rising senior Nik Haas (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey HS).

    Bentley University senior Sean Nee (West Yarmouth/Dennis-Yarmouth HS) closed out his collegiate career by setting a new personal best in the 800 meters while competing in the New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at Southern Connecticut State University.
  • Sihvonen Earns All-New England Honors; Mattson Also Excels

    Bentley University sophomore Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS) captured All-New England honors in the javelin by virtue of a fifth-place finish Friday afternoon during the New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Southern Connecticut State University. Freshman Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) continued her strong rookie season by achieving new personal bests in both the long jump and the 400 meters.

    Competing only about 20 minutes from his hometown, Bentley University sophomore Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lebanon HS) broke his own school record in the javelin and topped 200 feet for the first time while competing for the Falcon men’s track and field team in the Silfen Invitational at Connecticut College Saturday.
