    Bentley University sophomore Alex Arnold (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) made a strong showing for the Falcon men’s indoor track and field team during the David Hemery Valentine’s Invitational at Boston University Saturday while competing in two sprints and the long jump.

    The top finisher for the Bentley men was senior Seamus Higgins (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS), who posted a clocking of 15:30.52 in the 5,000. That was 15th overall and second among Division II competitors.

    Top-three finishes by senior Beau Kraft (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport Blue Point HS), classmate Seamus Higgins (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS) and freshman Robert Moritz (Singapore/ Singapore American School) topped the list of performances for the Bentley University men’s indoor track and field team during the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational at Harvard University Sunday.
  • Arnold Shines for Bentley at Reggie Poyau Memorial

    Alex Arnold (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) provided the only victory for the Bentley University men’s indoor track and field team Saturday during the Reggie Poyau Memorial at Brandeis University. The sophomore cleared 21 feet in the long jump, just a quarter-inch shy of his career best, to win the event by four inches over Southern Maine’s Kyle Farrar.
  • Bentley Tops NCAA Academic Success Rate Report, Receives President’s Award for Academic Excellence

    Bentley University is tied for number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report. Of the three institutions who shared the top spot with a 98 percent ASR, Bentley is the only one that has a football program. In recognition of having a four-year ASR of 90 or better, Bentley received a “Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence” from the NCAA.
  • Hergott Takes 1st in 3,000 in Season-Opening UMass-Boston Indoor Open

    For the second straight year, a member of the Bentley University men’s track and field team opened the season by taking first place in the 3,000 meters during the UMass-Boston Indoor Open at the Reggie Lewis Center.

    Recent Bentley University Tim Bolick (Hopkinton/Hopkinton), a 2017 CoSIDA Division II Academic All-America, and a pair of Falcon rising juniors, Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./ Smithfield HS) and Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS), have been named to the 2017 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
