WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley women's soccer team will get its 2018 season underway on Thursday, August 30th against Molloy as part of a 17 game schedule.
The opening game is part of a four team competition to begin the season, which also includes the hosts Merrimack, and Bentley's opponent in the second game, which is Dominican (N.Y.).
The Falcons will begin their quest to return to the Northeast-10 playoffs in earnest on September 8th, when they play their conference and home opener against American International. Away games against NE10 rivals Merrimack and Assumption follow on September 12 and 15.
Following that portion of the schedule, Bentley will play three home games in eight days with NE10 games against Adelphi on the 18th and Saint Anselm on the 26th bookending a non-conference match with Queens (N.Y.) on the 20th.
A home date with Franklin Pierce begins the month of October on Tuesday the 2nd. Bentley will head to Southern New Hampshire on the 10th for a rematch of last season's NE10 quarterfinal match.
The Falcons then close with three of their final five games at home, starting with a visit from Southern Connecticut on the 13th. After a trip to Pace on the 16th, Le Moyne on the 20th and Stonehill on the 24th come to town, before the regular season finale on the 27th at New Haven.
The Northeast-10 playoffs get underway with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 30th. The semifinals are on Friday, November, 2nd, and the championship match is slated for November 4th.
