    Bentley University junior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Maloney HS), the Women’s Swimmer of the Meet, collected her fourth gold medal of the weekend and classmate Anne Warren (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron School) also made a trip to the top of the platform as the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships concluded Sunday night at Southern Connecticut State’s Hutchinson Natatorium.

    After participating on a winning 800 free relay team on Thursday and capturing the 200 yard individual medley Friday, Bentley University junior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Maloney HS) swam to victory in the 400 IM Saturday night during day three of the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships at Southern Connecticut State University’s Hutchinson Natatorium.

Bentley completed its dual schedule with an 11-1 record.

Yoshihara was also recognized as the Men’s Rookie of the Week in the conference.

  • Wheaton Captures Final Relay to Spoil Bentley’s Opener, 155-139
    October 22, 2016
    The Bentley University women’s swimming team entered the final event, the 200 yard freestyle relay, down seven points and needing at least a first and a third to record a season-opening victory. However, it was Wheaton College who won the relay and also recorded a third-place finish, and as a result, the Falcons dropped a 155-139 decision to the host Lyons at the Balfour Natatorium Saturday.
