    Since returning from the exam and holiday break, the Bentley University men’s basketball team has alternated wins and losses, a pattern that has the Falcons entering the final crossover game of the season with records of 10-8 overall and 7-6 Northeast-10. Coach Jay Lawson’s team, coming off a 75-67 loss to Southern Connecticut State last Saturday, will look to again answer a blemish with a win when it faces Pace University Saturday at 1:30 pm at the Setters’ Goldstein Fitness Center in Pleasantville, N.Y.

  • Bentley Tops NCAA Academic Success Rate Report, Receives President’s Award for Academic Excellence

    Bentley University is tied for number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report. Of the three institutions who shared the top spot with a 98 percent ASR, Bentley is the only one that has a football program. In recognition of having a four-year ASR of 90 or better, Bentley received a “Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence” from the NCAA.

    Recent Bentley University Tim Bolick (Hopkinton/Hopkinton), a 2017 CoSIDA Division II Academic All-America, and a pair of Falcon rising juniors, Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./ Smithfield HS) and Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS), have been named to the 2017 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
