Dan Ancheta, a 2008 graduate of Boston College, is in his first season as a member of Coach Hoffman’s staff.

Ancheta, a Newton native and resident, came to Bentley after coaching at Watertown and Needham high schools during the 2010-11 academic year. He was the girls’ varsity coach at Watertown and the boys’ junior varsity coach at Needham.

Ancheta, who was an administrative assistant with the BC team from 2005-06, plays and serves as captain of the Boston Hurricanes USAV "A" team.

Ancheta, who earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from BC, has also been a special education aide in the Specialized Learning Center at the Broadmeadow School in Newton.
