    With sophomores Paige Fehskens (Wareham, Mass./Wareham HS) and Kaileigh Wimert (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth HS) leading the way, the Bentley University women’s cross country team finished first among five teams in the Kirsh Cup, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at the State Fairgrounds Saturday morning.

    After missing most of the indoor and outdoor seasons due to injury, Bentley University sophomore Paige Fehskens (Wareham, Mass./Wareham HS) returned to action Saturday and was the Falcons’ top finisher at Saint Anselm College’s Shacklette Invitational.

    Following a strong 2016 season in which the men’s team qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships and the women finished fifth in the NCAA Regional, the Bentley University cross country teams will make their 2017 debut Saturday with the Shacklette Invitational at Saint Anselm College.
