WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior forward Chris Hudson (Hodgdon, Maine/Williston Northampton School) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his outstanding performance during the span of December 10-19.

In a pair of wins, Hudson gave the 17th-ranked team in Division II 21 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and 1.5 assists a game while shooting 65 percent overall and making seven of nine free throws. On 10-of-13 shooting, he had 22 points and seven rebounds in a non-conference win over Saint Rose Dec. 10. Hudson followed that with his fourth double-double of the season, 21 points and 13 rebounds in a 94-57 victory at NYIT on Wednesday.

Hudson is averaging 15.5 points and a team-best 8.9 rebounds for the 10-1 Falcons. He's tied for fourth in the 15-team conference in rebounds and his .563 field goal percentage is second best. Hudson is also second in the NE10 in offensive rebounds and leads Bentley in steals (17) and blocks (10).

Also recognized by the conference, with selection to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll, was All-Region senior guard Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate).

The NE10's second leading scorer and the number nine scorer in program history, Richmond averaged 21 points, five assists and 3.5 rebounds in the two wins. He had 18 points, seven dimes and no turns against Saint Rose and a game-high 24 points, along with seven rebounds and three assists, at NYIT.

For the season, Richmond is averaging 22.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

Bentley, after a ten-day hiatus, will host Bridgeport on Sunday, Dec. 30.
