Jon Coleman
Title: Asst. Hockey Coach

The 2019-20 season will be Jon Coleman's second as an assistant coach on the Bentley hockey team's coaching staff.

An experienced coach and player, Coleman was previously an assistant coach at Babson beginning in 2015. His previous stop was as the Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations of the Canton Bulldogs in the MPHL.

As a player, Coleman was a 2nd round pick of the Detroit Red Wings in the 1993 NHL Draft. That preceded a standout career at Boston University, which saw him win the 1995 National Championship with the Terriers. Individually, he was named an All-American in both 1996 and 1997, and was named first team All-Hockey East in those seasons as well. He helped the Terriers to the Frozen Four in both of those seasons as well.

After graduating from BU’s School of Management in 1997, he went on to play in the AHL for several seasons, followed by playing in several leagues around Europe.
