  • Bentley Athletics and Pack Network Partner to Launch Bentleyfalcons.TV

    The Bentley University athletic department and Pack Network are proud to announce the launch of Bentleyfalcons.TV, the new home for Falcon athletic contests broadcasted online. Most home athletic events throughout the year will be webcast in HD quality video free of charge and can be viewed on desktop and mobile devices, including both Apple and Android devices.

    Ninety-eight Bentley University student-athletes have received 2014-15 Academic Achievement Awards from the Division 2 Athletics Director Association for their success in the classroom last academic year.

    The Bentley men’s lacrosse team picked up its third straight win on Saturday night, knocking off Saint Michael’s 8-5 on Senior Night. Sophomore Matt Brigham (Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth Abbey) and freshman Chris Wiggins (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxborough) each had two goals.

    Senior Matt Dente (Reading, Mass./Reading) scored a man-up goal 1:22 into overtime to give the Bentley men’s lacrosse team an 8-7 victory over visiting Saint Rose in the team’s home-opener Saturday afternoon. Dente had a hat trick in the win.

    Franklin Pierce slipped past Bentley in a tight game 9-7 in the Northeast-10 men’s lacrosse opener for both squads on Friday night. Junior Matt Brigham (Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth Abbey) had a hat trick for Bentley.

    The Bentley men’s lacrosse team picked up its first win of the season in a big way on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the University of the District of Columbia 17-3 in a non-conference game. Sophomore attack John Wheeler (Scarborough, Maine/Scarborough) had four goals.

    The Bentley men’s lacrosse team opens up its 2015 season on Sunday against New York Tech of the East Coast Conference at 1:00 pm. The contest was originally set to be played in Waltham, but the venue was shifted due to Bentley’s snow covered field.
