JAMESVILLE, N.Y. – Nick Ondr (Ozark, Mo./Glendale HS) was the top finisher for the Bentley University Falcons during the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Cross Country Championships, which were held Sunday at the Jamesville Beach Park.

Ondr placed 26th overall with his 8,000-meter time of 28:28.9 ninth best among conference freshmen. It was the fourth time in as many races this fall that he's been the first Bentley runner to reach the finish line.

Bentley's next four finished within 16 places and 51 seconds of each other. Senior Ben Edwards (Morristown, N.J./Morristown HS) was 46th in 29:13.7, freshman Aidan Cremins (Katy, Texas/Obra D. Tompkins HS)) was 59th (29.59.9), junior Soham Basu (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood HS) was 61st in 30:03.1 and senior Tom Abraham (Lowell, Mass./Lowell HS) was 62nd in 30:04.6.

As a team, Bentley finished eighth in a field of 14 with a score of 233.

American International College had the top two runners and captured the team championship by a significant margin over Stonehill College, 39-79. Ezra Mutai, with a 26:03.5, was the individual champion with his time more than a minute faster than teammate and runner-up Benoit Campion.

Bentley will close out the season Nov. 9 with the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship in Philadelphia.
