WALTHAM, Mass. – Sophomore Meg Pernsteiner (Highland Heights, Ohio/Hawken School) and freshman Kaitlin McGahie (Boylston/Tahanto Reg. HS) each won two events and participated in a winning relay as the Bentley University women's swimming team captured its fourth straight meet, 148-79 over visiting Brandeis University Friday night at the Dana Center pool.

Pernsteiner finished first in both backstroke events, with times of 30.11 seconds in the 50 yard race and a season-best 1:03.89 in the 100. She also swam a leg in the Falcons' 200 free relay that finished in 1:51.37.

McGahie's wins came in the 50 and 100 freestyle races, with times of 25.63 and 56.60. Earlier in the meet, she helped Bentley to a winning time of 1:58.88 in the 200 medley relay.

Sophomore All-America diver Nicola Mancini (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth HS) just missed the school record she set earlier this season at Le Moyne, finishing with a combined score of 491.80 in the two one-meter events. Classmate Courtney Stone (Andover/Andover HS) was second to her in both with her total of 406.70 qualifying her for the NCAA Division II pre-qualifying meet in March.

Bentley's other individual winners were sophomore Michelle Giordano (Alfred, Maine/ Cheverus HS) in the 1000 free (11:52.96), senior Amelia Suda (Monroe, Conn./Masuk HS) in the 40 breast (36.75), sophomore Kelly Culkin (Avon, Conn./Avon HS) in the 100 butterfly (1:03.65), senior Caroline Lewis (Westfield/Westfield HS) in the 100 breast, sophomore Melissa Clauss (Oakland, N.J./ Bergen County Academies) in the 50 fly (28.29) and senior Heather Exley (Oceanside, Calif./Vista HS) in the 100 individual medley (1:06.88).

Bentley, 4-1 on the season, will finish the 2013 portion of the schedule with the WPI Invitational Dec. 7-8.
