BRISTOL, R.I. – Senior Kaitlin McGahie (Boylston, Mass./Tahanto Reg. HS) and sophomore Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS) both won two individual races and combined to help the Falcons to a win in the 200 yard free relay as Bentley University pulled out a 127-105 win over Roger Williams University in women's college swimming at the RWU Aquatics Center Friday night.

Bentley won 11 of 13 events, including the last ten, to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Viator and McGahie both experienced success in the freestyle events. Viator swam the two longest distances, the 1000 and the 500, and posted winning times of 11:03.45 and 5:21.00. McGahie spent a lot less time in the pool, winning the 50 in 25.06 and the 100 in 54.97.

They finished the meet by combining with sophomore Hannah Rauch (Orchard Park, N.Y./ Orchard Park HS) and junior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Mahoney HS) to win the final relay in 1:42.75.

Sophomore Kate Kaduboski (Dedham, Mass./Dedham HS) had another strong meet as she won the 400 individual medley (4:40.86) and the 200 backstroke (2:09.62). Both times were the best recorded by a Northeast-10 Conference swimmer so far this season.

Freshman Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) captured both diving events with scores of 184.27 from the one-meter board and 180.15 from the three-meter.

The Falcons' other wins were recorded by junior Anne Warren (Ellicott City, Md./ Mt. Hebron HS) in the 200 butterfly (2:17.00) and Niemiec in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.62).

Bentley also is in action next Friday with a 6 pm meet at Brandeis University.
