Bentley Unveils Schedule for 2017-18 Hockey Season The Bentley hockey team has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 season. The slate features 34 games, with 28 against their Atlantic Hockey rivals, and six coming against non-conference opponents. Full Story
Bentley Places 20 Student-Athletes on Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team Bentley University is once again well represented on the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team. French Named CoSIDA Academic All-American Former Bentley University hockey standout Max French (West Kelowna, B.C.) has been named a CoSIDA Academic Third Team All-American for the Division I Men’s At-Large team, it was announced Thursday. French becomes the first student-athlete from the Bentley hockey program to earn the distinction. Full Story
Adler, French & Meyers Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 At-Large Teams Three Bentley University student-athletes have earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 honors in the men’s at-large program, which was announced Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America. They are seniors Max Adler (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Northfield Mount Hermon School) of the men’s lacrosse team and Max French (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna) of the hockey team, and junior Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) of the golf team. Gemma & Hardy Named Bentley’s Outstanding Senior Athletes; French Recipient of Powers Award All-America women’s basketball player Jen Gemma (Milton/Fontbonne Academy) and football linebacker Bryan Hardy (Barnstable/Barnstable HS), a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America®, have been named the Outstanding Senior Athletes at Bentley University. March 8, 2017 Bentley Travels to Air Force for Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinal Series Coming off a thrilling two games to one series victory over Sacred Heart in the first round, the Bentley hockey team travels out to Colorado this weekend to take on Air Force in a best of three quarterfinals series. Games one and two are Friday and Saturday night, and game three if necessary, is Sunday night. Game times are 9:05 eastern each night.
March 5, 2017 Gorowsky’s Double OT Goal Sends Bentley to Quarterfinals with 3-2 Victory over Sacred Heart Freshman Ryner Gorowsky (Lino Lakes, Minn./Fairbanks) scored 30 seconds into double overtime to give Bentley University a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sacred Heart in the deciding game three of the Atlantic Hockey first round Sunday night at the JAR.
