OVERVIEW

The Bentley University Men’s Club Ice Hockey team is a competitive program run by both the coaching staff and student executive board. The team plays between 22–25 games each season against strong local and regional opponents.

Our conference includes many of the top club teams in the country, including Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College, UNH, Providence, Bryant, Keene State and UMass Amherst. We also match up with other strong regional teams like Clarkson and RPI and we’re always looking to add exciting games to the schedule.

The team practices twice a week at the Bentley Arena. Tuesday nights from 10:00–11:00 pm and Wednesday nights from 10:30–11:30 pm. With busy class, work and internship schedules, the team carries about 30 skaters and four goalies to always ensure we’re ready to compete.

TRACK RECORD

The team has qualified and played at Nationals two out of the last four seasons and last year finished 4th in the Northeast, the highest ranking yet. Highlights from last year’s season included the annual overnight game against Army West Point and a two-game trip to Florida Gulf Coast, both of which will continue this year.

TEAM STRUCTURE

The team is run together by the coaches and student leaders. Players have a say in things such as scheduling, fundraising, and roster decisions. It is a highly competitive team with a collaborative approach, both on and off the ice.
