OVERVIEW
The Bentley triathlon team is composed of 10 student-athletes with a passion for swimming, biking, and running. The team primarily trains during the spring semester of the academic year and has races each summer. In 2025, the team will have competed in seven races, including the Boston Triathlon and Ironman 70.3 Western Massachusetts.
The triathlon team is a growing organization on campus and aims to help students achieve their athletic goals through triathlon.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
For three years in a row, the Bentley team has raced in the Collegiate Nationals Olympic Triathlon, with eight athletes racing at the Miami Speedway in 2025.
Two members of the team have competed in the Triathlon Worlds Olympic Distance.
TEAM HISTORY
Once a presence in the Boston area collegiate triathlon scene, Bentley triathlon faded during the Covid pandemic but resurfaced in 2022 when a group from the Bentley swimming and diving team decided to bring it back.
Since then, the team has grown from four members to 10 and had 17 at its peak with the graduating class of 2025.
