1) A Force in the Classroom

Bentley student athletes are a force in the classroom. Notable achievements from the 2024-25 academic year.

• Bentley University was ranked number two nationally in the NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report, the eighth straight year that Bentley has been in the top two. The Falcons were number one annually from 2017-23.

• 456 Bentley University student-athletes, a conference high, qualified for the spring 2025 Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll by achieving a grade point average of 3.0 or better during the semester. It marked the 31st  time in the 32 semesters that the NE10 has been recognizing the Academic Honor Roll (formerly Commissioner's Honor Roll) that Bentley has had the most honorees.

• 90 percent of Bentley hockey players qualified for the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team. Falcon skaters have had a 100 percent Graduation Success Rate in seven of the last eight years.

• A conference-best 45 student-athletes received the NE10 Conference Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, an honor awarded to graduating senior student-athletes for their outstanding work in the classroom during their college careers.

• Three teams earned the NE10's Team Academic Excellence Award for having the highest team GPA in the conference. Those were football, men's lacrosse and men's track and field.

• Bentley Received the NCAA Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence for 14th straight Year. The award is presented annually to member schools who have earned an Academic Success Rate of 90% or higher. Bentley has achieved an ASR of 98 for ten straight years.
 

2) Bentley's Career Services is Ranked No. 1 & A Top Ranked Business School

Bentley University's nationally recognized Pulsifer Career Development Center is the best in the country – ranked #1 for "Best Career Services" by The Princeton Review for the second straight year. Bentley is also ranked #4 for highest median salary 10 years after graduation  by The New York Times

It's the 12th year in a row that Bentley's career development department has been ranked in the top 5 in the U.S., including four times at number 1 (2017, 2019, 2023, 2024), demonstrating Bentley's successful approach to making sure that students thrive after graduation. For more than a decade, 97 to 99 percent of Bentley graduates have been employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation.

Additionally, a report from Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce ranked Bentley No. 8 among colleges and universities offering the greatest return on investment - with a net economic gain of more than $1 million 20 years after graduation and $2.25 million 40 years after graduation.

3) 94 Academic All-Americas

Bentley has had a total of 96 CSC (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-America selections in its history, including 51 since 2010. Our 96 Academic All-Americas ranks in the Top-15 all-time in Division II. Bentley had two student-athletes earn Academic All-America honors in 2024-25: Cash McClure (men's basketball) and Brendan Sencaj (baseball).

4) We Have Won Two NCAA Div. II National Championships

Bentley owns 2 NCAA Division II national championships, won by the women's basketball team in 2014 and the field hockey team in 2001.

5) Northeast-10 Championships 

A charter member of the Northeast-10, Bentley has captured a total of 163 conference championships in its history. Women's basketball made it a four-peat as Northeast-10 tournament championships in 2025 and also claimed the conference's regular season title. In 2021-22, Bentley became the first school in the 40-year history of the NE10 Conference to win both the men's and women's basketball championships on the same season. Both Falcon teams won the NE10 championship on their home court of the Dana Center. The men's team defeated Franklin Pierce 68-62 and the women's team defeated Stonehill 56-49.
