The visitors took the opener, 7-0, behind the four-hit pitching of freshman Marielle Handley (Durham, Conn.).

Freshman Halley McDevitt (San Ramon, Calif./San Ramon Valley HS) and sophomore Caitlin Betz (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS) each pitched a three-hitter as Bentley University posted back-to-back 4-1 wins in a doubleheader sweep of American International College in non-divisional Northeast-10 Conference softball Saturday afternoon.

The Bentley University softball team will hold its Coaches vs. Cancer Day Saturday when it hosts American International College in a noon doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 12 noon.
