Brennan Posts Career-Best Time in 2014 Debut

In her first competition of the fall, Bentley University junior Sarah Brennan (Quincy/North Quincy HS) posted the fastest 5,000-meter time of her career Saturday morning during the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic at Tom Sawyer State Park. Brennan covered the distance in 19:15.46 to place 91st in a field of 351 runners.

Amy Varsell (Burlington, Conn./Lewis S. Mills HS), the most decorated student-athlete in Bentley University women’s track history, and Bentley cross country standout Tara Dooley (Lee/Lee HS) have been selected for the 2014 Capital One NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
