MANCHESTER, N.H. - Bentley University won for the second time in
three matches with a 6-3 victory over Saint Anselm on Wednesday
afternoon in Northeast-10 women's tennis play.
With one match left in the regular season, the Falcons are 9-8
overall and 8-4 in the conference. Saint Anselm drops to 7-5 both
overall and in the conference.
After winning two of three doubles matches, the Falcons won four
of the singles matches to take the victory. The Hawks won the first
two flights, but Bentley took the third through sixth flights.
Sophomore Kara Murphy
(Worcester, Pa./Methacton), junior Cheryl
Martin (Pittsfield, Mass./St. Joseph Central)
and sophomore Brittany
Harbert (Boxford, Mass./Masconomet) all won their
singles matches for their second victories of the day after winning
in doubles.
The Falcons close out the regular season at home against
Merrimack on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
