WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season with an 8-1 triumph over Pace on Sunday in Northeast-10 play.
After sweeping the doubles matches, Bentley won the second through sixth flight matches in singles. Senior Kara Murphy (Worcester, Pa./Methacton), junior Rachael Litton (Burlington, Ontario/Nelson), senior Brittany Harbert (Boxford, Mass./Masconomet), freshman Melanie Scott (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) and sophomore Alyssa Hayes (Berlin, Conn./Berlin) won those matches in order.
Those five were also double winners on the day with wins in the doubles matches.
Bentley will go into the spring season with a record of 3-0.
