WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University women's tennis team was beaten by Adelphi 5-1 in its regular season finale Friday afternoon in a Northeast-10 match at the Bentley Tennis Courts.

The Falcons finish the regular season with a Northeast-10 record of 7-5 and advance on to the conference playoffs where they will play at Stonehill in the first round on Wednesday, April 23.

Bentley's point came in the No. 2 doubles match. The team of Brittani Hetyei (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township) and Rachel Petrini (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) defeated Taylor King and Jennifer Ferguson 8-2. The Panthers won the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches, and the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches. The No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches did not finish.
