Women's Tennis Sweeps Past Daemen 9-0

WALTHAM, Mass. – In a non-conference match before their final Northeast-10 match of the regular season, the Bentley women's tennis team swept visiting Daemen on Sunday 9-0. The win improve the Falcons' record to 7-6.

After sweeping doubles, Bentley finished things off in singles play. Three players won without dropping a game; Brittani Hetyei (Vernon, N.J./Vernon), Hannah Fabianski (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) and Susan Stowe (Hebron, Conn./RHAM) in in the No. 3-No. 5 matches.

Ludmila Yamus (Deer Park, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills) and Catherine Gianino (Burlington, Mass./Burlington) won the top two singles matches, while Jill Kamphaus (Walpole, Mass./Ursuline Academy) took the No. 6 match 6-4, 6-1.

Bentley plays its final NE-10 match on Wednesday against Stonehill.
