HAVERHILL, Mass. – The Bentley women's tennis team opened up its spring schedule with a 9-0 thumping of Salve Regina in a non-conference match at the Cedardale Athletic Club. Four different players won in both singles and doubles.

Junior Ludmila Yamus (Deer Park, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills) led the charge, winning in both top flight singles and doubles matches.

Junior Catherine Gianino (Burlington, Mass./Burlington) wasn't far behind, winning in both No. 2 singles, and teaming with Yamus in the No. 1 doubles match. Freshman Olivia von Oldenburg (Austin, Texas/Vandegrift) was a winner in the No. 4 singles match. She teamed with freshman Jill Kamphaus (Walpole, Mass./Ursuline Academy) for a victory in the No. 2 doubles match, and Kamphaus was also victorious in the No. 6 singles match for her second win of the day.

The sweep improves Bentley's overall record to 7-6 on the season. They are back in action on March 8 to open their spring break trip against Aquinas.
