Bentley Drops Final Florida Match to Florida Tech

Melbourne, Fla. – The Bentley women's tennis team concluded its Florida trip with a battle against undefeated Florida Tech, but the Panthers came away with a 7-0 victory on Friday night.

The Panthers, who improved to 8-0 on the season and have only dropped two points all season so far, claimed the doubles point by winning all three matches, then swept in singles.

The Falcons also took on Bloomsburg and St. Thomas Aquinas on their Florida swing, which saw them get their season restarted after the fall. Hannah Fabianski and Alessa Matuty led the team with two singles wins each during the trip, while Matuty and Evann Welty won two doubles matches.

Bentley now heads back north, where they next take on Nichols on April 4.
