WALTHAM, Mass. – Visiting Adelphi continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 7-0 victory over the Bentley University women's tennis team on Sunday.

The Panthers improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in NE10 matches, while the Falcons were competing in their first dual match of the season.

Adelphi jumped out to a 1-0 lead behind wins in two of the doubles matches, followed by taking the singles matches to secure the victory.

Bentley won the No. 3 doubles match behind the efforts of sophomores Remi LeSage and Anna Lang. The duo bested Carolina Chaves and Julia Kielan by a 6-4 score.

Adelphi's Barbara Quagliardi won the No. 2 to match to improve to 3-0 in singles on the season, while Amanda Franstedt also took her record to 3-0 in singles with a win in No. 4.

Bentley will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Assumption at 3:00 pm in a NE10 match.
