SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The match between Bentley and Springfield was declared a 3-3 tie after the match was halted by rain on Saturday.

Bentley's points came in No. 1 doubles, and in No. 2 and No. 6 singles.

In No. 1 doubles, it was Adriana Hiraldo (San Juan, P.R.) and Maria Mella (Santo Domingo, D.R.) winning by an 8-3 score, over Taylor Suozzo and Gina Heaney Secord.

Mella earned her second win of the day in No. 2 singles, with a 7-5, 4-2 win over Veronica Fulgieri. In No. 6 singles, Zoe Chin (Lexington, Mass./Lexington) got the better of Jorja Mederick by a 6-1, 6-4 count.

Bentley's next scheduled match is on Thursday at home against Providence College.
