MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Bentley women's tennis team earned its first win of the season, 4-3, at St. Anselm Tuesday night.
In doubles play, Remi LeSage and Catalina Borrero won on the No. 2 court, 6-4, but the Hawks took the point for doubles competition.
Borrero and LeSage continued their winning ways in singles competition. LeSage was triumphant in a decisive battle on the No. 3 court. After dropping the first set, 6-4, she fought back to win the next two (6-4, 12-10). Borrero won in two sets on the No. 4 court (6-1, 6-2).
Libby Keefe also needed only two sets on the No. 5 court (6-3, 6-3). Adriana Hiraldo got the win on the No. 2 singles court for Bentley (6-1, 3-0 (WR)).
