WATERBURY, Conn. – Bentley University senior golfer
Bennett Berg (Portland, Maine/Portland HS) continued to play well and finished the first 36 holes of the Post Eagles Invitational in a tie for ninth place Monday.

Berg, who had three straight 74's in last week's Northeast-10 Championships, posted a 74-76-150. His nine-over score put him just three strokes out of fourth place. His day included three birdies.

Next for Bentley was senior
Chris Huban (Cohoes, N.Y./Albany Academy), who will enter Tuesday's final round tied for 22
nd after a 76-80-156 on the Watertown Golf Club course.

Bentley, with a 308-318-626, finished the day in seventh place, among 12 teams.

The team leader is St. Thomas Aquinas, with a nine-stroke lead on second-place Assumption University. Individually, Post's Joe Ensign has a one-stroke lead on Dominican's Alexander Lundvall following a 69-72-141.

Bentley will wrap up its fall schedule Tuesday with the final round getting underway at 8:30 am.
