Falcons win home finale over Saint Anselm, 4-3

WALTHAM, Mass. – A clutch singles victory by Anna Lang helped propel the Bentley women's tennis team to a 4-3 non-conference win over Saint Anselm Saturday morning.

Competing on the No. 3 singles court, Lang lost the first set, 6-3. However, she fought back to take the second set, 7-5, and she sealed the battle with a 6-3 final in the third set.

Hannah Gould (No. 5) and Rachel Holden (No. 6) came away with identical singles victories in two sets (6-1, 6-1).

Bentley began the match by earning the crucial doubles point. Lang and Gould cruised to a 6-1 win on the No. 2 court, while Libby Keefe and Taylor Morris fought to a 7-5 triumph.
