Waltham, Mass. - Bentley won four of the six singles matches en route to a 4-3 victory over Saint Anselm on Tuesday. The Falcons evened their record to 2-2 on the season.
The Hawks won the doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead, but Bentley rallied with a strong effort in singles to take the match.
The No. 2 match was won by Maria Mella, 6-3, 6-2 over Julie Borschig. Freshman Isabella Kaldy took the No. 4 match, 6-1, 6-3 over Camila Heredia-Osant.
Freshman Julie Madden was victorious in the No. 5 match, 6-2, 6-1 over Alyssa Conley and Zoe Sbarra-Vaughan won in No. 6, 6-2, 6-3 over Julia Svor.
Bentley will next take on Post University in a non-conference match on Thursday, in the second match of a three-match home stand.
