BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Freshman
Tanya Chowdary (Belle Mead, N.J./Wardlaw Hartridge HS) was Bentley University's top golfer during the season-opening Trinity/Hartford Spring Invitational, which concluded Sunday at the Tumble Brook Country Club.
Chowdary tied for tenth place overall with an 88-86-174. The number two Falcon was also a freshman,
Alexandra Kwon (Westford, Mass./Westford Academy), who tied for 21
st in a 32-player field with a 97-92-189.
Bentley placed fifth among six teams in the standings after turning in a 386-375-761.
Medalist honors went to Hamilton College's Aubrey Lee (80-77-161), who edged her teammate, Keira Joshi, by a single stroke.
Hamilton also claimed team honors by 48 strokes, with a 328-322-650.
Bentley's next action is the Saint Anselm Invitational April 13-14.
