WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second straight season Bentley led the Northeast 10 in student-athletes on the Academic All-Conference teams, with 23 for the winter season.
Bentley led all NE10 institutions in the fall 20 with selections.
The men's and women's basketball teams each had two players named.
Cash McClure and
Cooper Farrall, both of whom were voted NABC All-District, represented the men's team.
It's McClure's third straight time on the Academic All-Conference team and the second straight for Farrall.
The women's team was represented by
Julia Elie and
Cassidy Yeomans. It's the first selection for both.
Men's swimming and diving led all Bentley squads with seven student-athletes;
Matthew Walden,
Leighton Wielgoszinski,
Daniel Ivanchikov,
Thomas Miele,
Ethan Rehkopf, Zach Ellis and
Griffin Keliher.
Women's swimming and diving and men's indoor track and field had the next most with five.
Taylor White,
Skyla Lang,
Grace Motisi,
Caroline Ubert and
Rishika Moorthy earned a spot for women's swimming and diving. White and Lang are both repeat honorees.
Men's indoor track and field had
Steven D'Alessandro,
Hayden MacArthur,
Rocco Bueti,
Michael Hemme and
Anthony Cronin selected. Bueti is on the team for the second straight year.
Lily Tedford and
Samantha Doran are Bentley's honorees for women's indoor track and field. Tedford earned All-Region honors in two events, the 800 meter and one mile, and Doran won a bronze medal in the 3000 meter at the NE10 Championships.
To qualify for the Academic All-Conference team, a student-athlete must have cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and have been voted to their sport's All-Conference teams.
