JOHNSTOWN, Pennsylvania – Bentley's Jack Kantowski is tied for the lead following the first round of the NCAA DII Men's Golf East/Atlantic Regional at Sunnehanna Country Club.

Kantowski shot a 67 in the opening round Thursday, which tied with Gannon's Rasmus Seppanen. As a team, Bentley is tied for 13^th out of 20 teams.

Kantowski sank four birdies in the first round – two on the front nine, and two on the back nine. He made birdie on the par-five 9^th hole, and did the same on the par-five 11^th hole.

John Noonan is tied for 54^th in a field of nearly 110 golfers. He shot a 75 in the first round. Similarly to Kantowski, Noonan made two birdies on the front nine, and added two more on the back nine.

Braden Yeomans (76) is one stroke behind Noonan, which puts him in a tie for 63rd overall. Yeomans made eagle on the par-five 11^th hole.
