CONCORD, N.H. – The Bentley University Falcons finished Day 1 of the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Golf Championships in a tie for sixth place Monday at the Concord Country Club.

36 holes were played with Bentley recording a 306-307-613. The final 18 will be contested with action scheduled to resume at 8 am.

Bennett Berg (Portland, Maine/Portland HS) led Bentley with his eight-over 74-74-148 good for 12
th place. He birdied two par-threes (11, 16) on his first round and the par-four seventh during the second round.

Classmate
Evan Desjardins (Salem, N.H./Salem HS) followed and finished the day in a tie for 17
th among the 40 competitors with a 77-75-152. He had back-to-back birds during his second round, the par-five 17
th and the par-four 18
th.

Southern New Hampshire will take a 17-stroke lead into the final round and SNHU's Jack Pepin tops the leaderboard with a three-under 137.
