On the national stage, Capobianco makes significant improvement from last year's NCAA Championship

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – For the first time since 2016, the Bentley men's cross country team competed in the NCAA D-II National Championship in Sacramento Saturday. The Falcons placed 34th as a team, with senior captain Sam Capobianco leading the way.

Results

Capobianco significantly improved his 10K time from last year's national race, crossing the finish line in 31:54.0. He placed 155th out of 259 finishers.

Capobianco ran as an individual in the 2023 national championship, crossing the finish line with a time of 32:42.2. He was 226th out of 260 runners.

All of the other Falcons were getting their first taste of competing on the national stage. Mason Behl timed in at 32:56.3 (217th overall), and Rocco Bueti crossed the finish line in 33:52.5 (247th). Jeff Warnock's time was 34:48.8 (255th), while Hayden MacArthur (34:57.5) and Anthony Cronin (35:19.0) finished consecutively in 258th and 259th, respectively.
