WALTHAM, Mass. – It had been eight years since the last time the Bentley men's cross country team qualified for the NCAA Championship. This year, the Falcons are out to prove that 2024 wasn't a fluke.

Last fall, Bentley placed third in the NCAA East Regional, qualifying for the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2016.

The 2025 Falcons bring back five runners who placed on the 2024 national stage. Through the California rain and mud,  Mason Behl timed in at 32:56.3 (217th overall), and Rocco Bueti crossed the finish line in 33:52.5 (247^th). Jeff Warnock's time was 34:48.8 (255^th), while Hayden MacArthur (34:57.5) and Anthony Cronin (35:19.0) finished consecutively in 258^th and 259^th, respectively.   

The Falcons posted better times in more favorable weather conditions during the NCAA East Regional. For instance, current junior Behl was 18^th with a 10K time of 32:16.5. His classmate, Bueti, placed 28^th with time of 32:41.9. Max Lampe, now a senior captain, and current junior Hayden MacArthur both finished top 50 of the regional race, crossing the finish line in less than 33:30.00.

The 2025 season begins this Saturday, Sept. 6, in the Hartford Invitational.

Following the opening meet in Hartford, Bentley runs in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 20).

The New England Championships are in Hopkinton, N.H. (Oct. 10), and the NE10 Championships are in Manchester N.H. (Oct. 26).

The NCAA East Regional is back in Hopkinton, N.H. (Nov. 8).
