TOWNSEND, Mass. – Senior
Chris Huban (Cohoes, N.Y./Albany Academy) tied for fourth in a field of 62 after posting a three-over par 143 as the Bentley University men's golf team opened the fall season by competing in the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational at the Northern Spy Golf Club Tuesday.

Huban's effort helped Bentley finish in the middle of the nine-team tournament with a score of 595. The Falcons, who had the best second day score (293) in Iain Highlield's first event as Bentley's head coach.

Bentley was just six strokes off the winning pace of Wilmington University (Del.). Assumption University and Dominican University tied for second with a 591 and Adelphi University was fourth with a 593.

Among Bentley players, Huban was followed by senior
Evan Desjardins (Salem, N.H./Salem HS) and junior
Robbie Sluga (Stamford, Conn./St. Joseph HS). Desjardins tied for 14
th with a 73-75-148 and Sluga's 150 (76-74) was good for a tie with 20
th.

Mitchell Archer of Adelphi captured the tournament by two strokes with an even-par 71-69-140.

Bentley will be back in action next Monday and Tuesday with the Granite State Invitational at the Beaver Meadow Golf Club in Concord, N.H.
