DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Sam Capobianco placed seventh out of 342 finishers in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday, leading the Bentley men's cross country team to 13^th place in the field of 44 teams.

Results

Capobianco's time of 25:12.19 was better than the top runners from NCAA D-I teams such as Rhode Island, Northeastern, Holy Cross, and UMass Lowell.

Mason Behl cracked the top 100, as his time of 26:31.81 was good for 85^th overall. Max Lampe barely missed the top 100, placing 102^nd with a time of 26:48.49.

The Falcons have a little extra time to rest before their next meet – the New Englands in Hopkinton, N.H., Oct. 12.
