WORCESTER, Mass. – The men's tennis team was blanked, 7-0, in its 2024 fall opener at Assumption Saturday afternoon.

Two Falcons battled through three sets during singles competition. On the No. 1 court, Ansh Chadha lost the first set, 6-1, but won the second frame by the same margin. Chadha, the reigning Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year, dropped the third set by a 6-1 final.

Alessandro Bertolina put up a tough fit in the third set on the No. 3 court. He came up short, 10-7, in the decisive frame.

Bentley makes its home debut against Franklin Pierce, Sept. 28.
