ORLANDO, Fla. – Freshman
CJ Steel (Franklin, Mass./Franklin HS) and seniors
Evan Desjardins (Salem, N.H./Salem HS) and
Chris Hubans (Cohoes, N.Y./Albany Academy) each turn in top ten finishes during the season-opening Saint Anselm Florida Invitational, which concluded Tuesday at the Eagle Creek Golf Club.

Steel, in his collegiate debut, finished fourth in a field of 43 with a 36-hole score of 71-72-143, one under par. His second day included three birdies and a even-par 35-37-72.

Huban and Desjardins tied for sixth place at two-over par, with Huban posting a 72-74-148 and Desjardins a 75-71-146. Both birdied three holes over the second 18.

Also in the top 20 for the Falcons were junior
Robbie Sluga (Stamford, Conn./St. Joseph HS) (tie for 15
th, 78-72-150), senior
Tyler Brown (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake Regional HS) (19
th, 77-74-151) and senior
Bennett Berg (Portland, Maine/Portland HS) (t-20
th, 74-78-152).

As a team, Bentley's "A" team finished third among seven teams, with identical 295 scores for a two-day score of 590. The Falcons also fielded a B team, which placed fifth with a 306-301-607,

The team champion was Adelphi University (285-286-571), by 12 strokes over Post University. The medalist was Adelphi's Francis Lanuza, who finished three strokes better than teammate Mitchell Archer with a five-under 72-67-139.
