WORCESTER, Mass. – Jordan Krause became the first Falcon in Bentley softball history to reach 200 career hits as the Falcons swept Assumption in a Northeast-10 doubleheader Thursday. Bentley has now won five of its last six games.
Krause entered Thursday's games as Bentley's all-time leading hitter with 198 career hits. Her milestone hit was a single in the sixth inning of the first game against Assumption. Krause is also Bentley's all-time leader in home runs (20) and runs (116).

Bentley 6, Assumption 5
The Falcons scored all six of their runs in the third inning, and
Riley Piromalli notched yet another complete-game victory in Bentley's 6-5 win over the Greyhounds.
Hailey Feiler and
Michelle Diaz led off the top of the third inning by drawing consecutive walks, and both runners moved up a base following a sacrifice bunt by
Carly DiMento. The next batter –
Jess Morrison – delivered a two-run single to right centerfield.
Bella Burke immediately followed with a single that put runners on the corners for Krause. The 199
th hit of Krause's career was a two-run triple that gave Bentley a 4-2 lead.
After
Kim Saunders drew a walk, Krause came in to score on a base hit by
Becca Harris. Feiler – who started the rally – scored Saunders with a single.

Bentley 6, Assumption 3
Krause went 2-for-4 with a three-run triple to complete the sweep at Assumption with a 6-3 victory.
Bentley trailed by a run, 3-2, entering the sixth inning, but that's when the Falcons rallied for four runs. DiMento and Morrison hit consecutive one-out singles, and Burke reached on an error to load the bases.
Krause wasted little time in clearing the bases with a double down the left field line. Krause came in to score on a passed ball later in the inning.
In addition to Krause, three other Falcons finished the game with two hits: Morrison, Harris, DiMento.
Maddie Pickett earned her second-career complete victory by yielding just three earned runs on five hits in seven innings.
The Falcons return home Friday, April 11, to host Adelphi. The doubleheader starts at 2:30 p.m.
